Tims Tip/Blog of the Week

We just finished one of the most unique fisheries on this year’s tour at Winyah Bay in South Carolina. Literally hundreds of miles of rivers and swamps to choose from. Finding fish in this vast expanse of wilderness was challenging and constantly changing due to severe fronts bringing changing temperatures and high winds. Bait selection could be a challenge as well but as I have said before, no matter where you go, you just can’t go wrong with a crawfish imitation bait and that is why I chose the Klone Crawsome as my go to bait for the thick, gnarly brush with a swampers tungsten weight. Because of the brackish, dark water, Junebug was my color. The video below will explain more about the Crawsom. Congrats as well to Kelly Jordon for his 3rd place finish and Boyd Duckett for his top 12 finish and the top 50 finish of our other Profound Prostaff Team Members that were able to unlock the mystery to this great fishery. Until next time, Tight Lines !!! Tim
